 Dr. Peter Blakey

Dr. Peter Blakey is the professor and chair of the Electrical Engineering Department. He received his B.A. from the University of Oxford, his MBA from the University of Michigan, and his Ph.D. from the University of London in 1976. His experience includes work with Accent Optical Technologies, ON Semiconductor, Motorola, Integrated Systems Engineering, Silvaco, Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corp., Arizona State University, General Motors, the University of Michigan and Philips. His areas of expertise include solid-state electronics, semiconductor process and device simulation, characterization and modeling of semiconductor devices, design of nonlinear RF circuits, numerical techniques. Dr. Blakey joined the faculty at NAU in 2002.
